The beginning

Choose a Challenge originates from two individuals passionate for leading challenges and making a lasting difference to charities. Over a decade later we have a successful HQ in London and have expanded upon that original passion to right here in the United States.

Our Mission

We believe excitement and adventure are the keys to life.

Our team has a strong background in the charity sector and are passionate about raising money for good causes. We want to help make a difference to the people in the world who need it most and we want students to be at the forefront of creating this change. When you get involved in one of our international challenge events, not only do you guarantee yourself the trip of a lifetime, you guarantee that you are going to change the lives of others!

Feel free to pick up the phone or send us an email if you wish to find out more about us or any of our challenges.

Our History

Our journey began on the summit of the tallest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, back in 2008.

Many years later, We've expanded to two offices worldwide and have become the largest student charity challenge company in the U.K.. We're also responsible for taking over 1,500 young adults on expeditions every year. With an experienced team hailing from all walks of life and over 200 different countries traveled between us, we truly believe we are the best team to take you on a "once-in-a-lifetime" adventure.

All of this means that we are perfectly placed to offer advice and assist in making your trip epic!

Emma Bennett - Operations Guru Emma was bitten by the travel bug at a young age and by the time she'd finished her A levels, she had left England to live in Greece for two years with spells of inter-railing around Eastern Europe. After finishing her degree, she spent six years as a tour leader specializing in trekking trips and has been lucky enough to climb in Ecuador, Brazil, Tanzania, Nepal and North Korea amongst other destinations. She now puts that knowledge to good use - heading up our operations team here in our head office.
