POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media is a sure fire way to spread the word about what you're doing and get others involved. Tell your followers about the challenge you're taking on, the charity you're fundraising for, and let them know why you're doing it. Give updates on your progress and upload photos of yourself training for the event. Be sure to tag your friends and family and invite them to share!
SEND EMAILS & WRITE LETTERS
Directly reach out to employers, professors, or anyone you think would be excited to help via email. A hand written letter is also an excellent way to get someone's attention and make the experience more personal.
Another great way to get your message out is by holding fundraising events such as car washes, bake sales, themed parties or sports tournaments in your community. These are excellent opportunities to get others involved and have discussions with potential sponsors face-to-face.
